The Triple Crown
The Triple Crown
A humble delivery person, Mahendra, finds a magical lamp and wishes to become a king with a warrior princess as his queen, instantly transporting him to an unfamiliar, anachronistic world. He awakens disoriented and amnesiac, thrust into a bizarre societal custom of "wife-taking" and discovers his unwitting wishes manifested as three powerful women he is magically bound to marry. Learning his life is a magical game where the women's love grants bonus wishes, he decides to marry all three. Mahendra faces immediate challenges, including a royal decree demanding impossible grain, public humiliation, and betrayal by a former friend, Lakha. His wife Rudrani initially protects him but then declares him a coward, forcing him to flee with his wives to an impoverished hut, where a magical wish provides much-needed sustenance. As he navigates this complex world, he begins accumulating "love meter points" from his wives and confronts menacing figures like Laka and Teja, who threaten his family. Mahendra discovers a hidden power, summoning a Jini to gain strength and pursue revenge against his oppressors. He strategically pursues Indumati, promising retribution for her family's tragedy, while a hidden Princess Chitrangada observes his actions. Mahendra, now a scholar, uses "modern techniques" to win a fishing wager, bringing economic relief to his village, and introduces a fast-growing potato to combat drought and famine. His wife, Indu, is abducted by the vengeful Teja, prompting Mahendra on a desperate rescue mission where he exposes Teja's villainy, leading to his imprisonment. Mahendra's heroic acts, including curing the Pradhan's critically ill wife with unconventional methods, earn him royal favor and community respect. He secretly enlists the magical Jini to arm his community against the looming threat of the notorious Ugrasen dacoit gang. Uniting his divided villagers, Mahendra invents a powerful weapon, the "Vajra Vinashi Shastra," and trains his people for an impending war. He confronts and decisively defeats Ugrasen, avenging Princess Indu's family and solidifying his position as Raja. However, his greatest challenge shifts from external threats to winning the hearts of his three demanding queens, leading him to seek magical assistance from a Jinnie to become a "love-guru."
