Stiched in blood
Stiched in blood
Amara Vance is publicly stripped of her place in the family fashion empire when Victor hands her work and status to Whitney, then blacklists and exiles her. Humiliated and cut off, she discovers that her mother Helena left behind a hidden legacy tied to a sealed chest, special needles, and a rare control over the weave. Baldwin, who has guarded Helena’s secret for years, helps Amara survive, hide under a new identity, and move through secret passages toward the truth. As the conflict deepens, Amara learns that the empire is built on stolen patents, surveillance, and a long-running conspiracy that reaches into Vault 9 and beyond. Her search for Helena becomes a rescue mission when she finds her mother imprisoned in a hidden facility, while Victor tightens control over the company and the people around him. The fashion house’s public events become battlegrounds, with runway shows, galas, and auctions turned into traps, distractions, and exposure tactics. Amara’s allies use altered garments, timed signals, and identity switches to fight back from inside the spectacle. A hijacked signal and other sabotage attacks damage Victor’s finances and reputation, showing that the war is no longer private. At the same time, security lockdowns and vault thefts reveal how much of the empire depends on secrecy and restricted access. Amara is injured when her atelier is destroyed, and her hands are damaged, making her fight more personal and costly. Even so, she refuses to disappear, and Baldwin points her toward an underground resistance of rejected models and designers. She also proves that wild hemp can be turned into couture, challenging the elite’s control over materials and taste. Victor responds by blacklisting her, exposing her as an outsider, and using a high-society auction as a trap to capture her alive. Whitney is pulled into the public fallout and is forced to stand in for designs she did not create, exposing the fraud at the center of the brand. The polished image of the fashion empire keeps collapsing under the weight of hidden crimes, stolen work, and public humiliation. By the end of the arc, Amara is still under threat, but the conspiracy has been dragged into the open and the family’s carefully managed world is no longer secure.
