A poor laborer named Hao is humiliated by his boss and makes a desperate wish for strength, after which he becomes the strongest man in the world. His new power first surfaces in ordinary work, where he lifts impossible loads and shocks everyone around him. That sudden strength draws attention from powerful people who want to recruit, test, or control him. As the story expands, Hao is pulled into class conflict, business pressure, and romance trouble, including a public breakup and betrayal by his girlfriend. Wealthy rivals mock his poverty, but he keeps answering humiliation with hidden strength and public defiance. The conflict then shifts toward family honor and a larger power struggle centered on the King of Strength tournament. Rival heirs accuse each other of cheating, and the feud spreads into their families and business circles. The Su family repeatedly treats the underdog, called Li or Lee in later digests, as their last hope and tries to bring him into their side. He resists involvement at first, but offers of money, appeals for help, and even a shocking marriage proposal keep pulling him deeper into the fight. At the same time, a hereditary power pill becomes a major source of leverage, suspicion, and danger. Characters are beaten, threatened, and pressured to reveal formulas or surrender the pill, while older figures plead for mercy and loyalty. The tournament itself becomes a public battlefield where accusations of sabotage, doping, and hidden cheating threaten to erase victories. Lee is publicly accused, briefly detained, and then cleared, but the scandal does not end the rivalry. Instead, it pushes him into a more direct role as the family’s champion and as a target for stronger opponents. Powerful women and palace figures continue trying to recruit him with wealth, rank, and promises, while allies defend him from being controlled. In the later arc, the struggle widens beyond the tournament into Power King Hall and Strength Palace, where authority, loyalty, and the power pill all become contested. Tao’s long-hidden betrayal erupts into open rebellion, and he seeks control of the palace, the Master’s seat, and Naomi herself. Bella and Naomi are forced into survival mode as attacks close in, and Lee’s pill gives Bella unexpected strength in the fighting. By the end, no side has fully secured control, and the story remains locked in a tense standoff of revenge, protection, and unstable power.
