Ahalya, a young woman under the strict control of her matriarch mother, faces an arranged marriage and witnesses a dangerous secret, leading to a chilling threat. She is placed under the guardianship of Mr. Ravi, forcing her to live with his son, Jai, and attend his college. This ignites an immediate "enemies-to-lovers" dynamic, complicated by Jai's intense jealousy and a mysterious shared past. Their burgeoning connection is fraught with classist bullying from rivals like Sonia, Kyra, and Geetha, and dangerous encounters with manipulative men like Dhanush and Mahesh, often leaving Ahalya vulnerable and in peril. Despite Jai's initial rejections to preserve their friendship, an impulsive kiss ignites a forbidden passion, further complicated by his arranged marriage to heiress Geetha and his father's insistence that he treat Ahalya as a sister. As their love deepens, both Ahalya and Jai confront relentless opposition from their manipulative mothers, Kavitha and Sunitha, who scheme to control their lives, expose hidden truths about their parentage, and secure inheritances. Ahalya's mother subjects her to abuse and banishes her for her forbidden romance, while Jai's emotionally distant father disowns him over a fabricated academic failure. Jai fiercely protects Ahalya, confessing his profound love, using blackmail against Geetha, and intervening in public shaming and compromising video scandals that threaten Ahalya's reputation. Ahalya, in turn, defends Jai, volunteers to tutor him, and uncovers a sinister conspiracy behind his sabotaged exams. The narrative escalates when Jai publicly declares his love, defying his powerful father, Rajan, who issues an ultimatum: choose between Ahalya and the family legacy. Jai agrees to leave home to prove his worth but negotiates Ahalya's protection under Rajan, albeit with a strict no-contact rule. Their passionate romance continues to be complicated by Jai's dual identity for his parents and ongoing threats, hinting at deeper shared secrets yet to be fully revealed.
