Chillu Kottaram

The story follows Rohit and Maneesha through a long collapse of trust, status, and family peace. Rohit begins by hiding that he is the founder of Rapid Road Delivery and living as a delivery boy, hoping to preserve the simple life Maneesha believes in. That secret becomes harder to sustain as family members, coworkers, and rivals keep pulling private matters into public view. Maneesha’s abortion decision becomes a major rupture, because she insists it was her own choice while Rohit feels excluded and betrayed. Sunil’s involvement deepens the wound, since he is tied to career pressure, possible manipulation, and the sense that Maneesha’s future is being decided by others. Maneesha’s mother also enters the conflict, defending her daughter and mocking Rohit’s poverty, which sharpens the class divide around the marriage. Public confrontations at work, in hotels, and at family gatherings repeatedly turn the couple’s pain into spectacle. Rohit is humiliated, challenged, and at times physically attacked, while Maneesha is accused of betrayal, infidelity, and hidden motives. The relationship keeps swinging between brief signs of devotion and renewed suspicion, but neither side can restore trust for long. Career ambition becomes inseparable from the marriage, especially when Maneesha’s posting or selection is tied to board-level decisions and elite opportunities. Rohit eventually reveals his true identity more than once, first as the founder and later as someone with far greater wealth and influence than others assumed. Those revelations briefly reverse the power balance, but they do not heal the emotional damage. A birthday celebration and other elite events only intensify the humiliation, with gifts, status, and family approval used as weapons. The necklace dispute and related fraud accusations push the conflict into a broader public scandal. Sunil is repeatedly exposed as an antagonist who tries to control the narrative, while allies and business figures step in to confirm Rohit’s authority. The marriage then moves toward legal separation, with divorce papers and mutual agreement pressure making the break feel unavoidable. In the final stretch, Rohit returns with revenge in mind, but the emotional center remains the same: both love and resentment have hardened into a struggle over dignity. The arc ends with Rohit rejecting reconciliation, leaving for the US forever, and Maneesha left to face the collapse of the relationship and the fallout around her family.
