Brahma Ratchasan
Brahma Ratchasan
An ancient Indian village custom of a silent wedding, meant to ward off a malevolent demon, is shattered by a skeptical young man, inadvertently summoning the dreaded Brahmarakshasan. This unleashes a terrifying supernatural nightmare, disrupting Rithika's wedding and leading to her violent abduction, marking the continuation of 65 years of terror during which 98 brides have been taken and marriages halted. Hope emerges with the arrival of Maya and Aira, a modern paranormal expert identified as the "sooniyakkaari" destined to capture the ancient evil. The entity is revealed to be Devan, a once pure man transformed into a "raakshasan" by a tragic betrayal in love, now relentlessly pursuing a mysterious figure named Vibha and abducting brides to complete a dark ritual for ultimate power. Nivedha, another bride, is abducted, prompting her tech-savvy friend Sanjay to seek understanding and defeat the demon. The Brahmaratchasan's 65-year-old unfulfilled desire for Janaki is uncovered, leading to a quest for identity and past lives, as Aira uses technology to reveal hidden secrets. Ira, also known as Ahira or Aneia, discovers she is the reincarnation of Janaki, drawing her into a mystery of past-life karma and the demon's unfulfilled desires. A village wedding is disrupted by an ancient curse demanding the bride, also called Janaki, sacrifice herself to the Brahma Rakshasa, while an obsessed man, Deva, attempts to abduct her. Ahira, convinced the Brahma Rakshasan is not evil, plans a "marriage" to confront it, despite warnings. A menacing villain, Bhairavan, obsessed with Janaki and seeking ultimate power, initiates a reign of terror by kidnapping women and preventing marriages, revealing he murdered Devan in a past life and continues his violent pursuit to separate them. Devan and Janaki eventually reunite, confirming their fated love and unbreakable bond across lifetimes. However, their bond is immediately challenged by the emergence of a powerful ancient demon, the 'Raatchasan,' which Devan vows to defeat. Further complicating matters, Nivedha returns to her village, revealing she carries the heir of the fearsome Brahmarakshasan, unleashing a new supernatural threat and suggesting the ancient evil's legacy continues.
