A wealthy girl’s marriage is arranged through a swayamvaram (a traditional ceremony where many suitors gather). Among the many grooms who arrive, there is also a poor young man. The girl chooses him, but her father disapproves of his poverty. He sets a condition: “First become rich, then I will agree to the marriage.” The story then follows the young man’s journey to achieve wealth, the challenges he faces along the way, and the secrets that unfold.
