Plot:
For three long years, Ellie Scott awaited a heart transplant for her son, Howie. However, her husband, Dr. Zack Scott, shattered her hopes by giving the heart to his ex-lover Rachel Shields' son, Jason. Devastated by Howie’s death, Ellie confronted Zack, who blamed her and moved Rachel and Jason into their home. Ellie demanded a divorce, but Zack refused. In desperation, Ellie caused a scene at the hospital, leading to Zack's suspension and Rachel's dismissal. Realizing his grave mistake, Zack was consumed with regret.
