Suryakant Sarang, a young carrom prodigy, begins his journey in the volatile Malwani neighborhood, facing wrongful apprehension and witnessing police corruption amidst communal violence. Driven by family hardship and a dream of a better life in Dubai, he becomes an 'Angadiya' courier after his father's death, aspiring for quick wealth. His courageous stand against a ruthless gang and a childhood bond with Zaid reveal his ambition to conquer the city. However, his path is fraught with uncertainty as he promises Noori to return for their wedding, while also navigating a secret romance with Devi. Suryakant is soon drawn into the dangerous world of high-stakes carrom by powerful kingpin Jalil, initially to reclaim stolen savings after being swindled. He rapidly gains recognition as a hustler, challenging champions and asserting his 'Haq se' philosophy amidst growing debts. Betrayals mount as Zaid, now a crime boss, blackmails him and later manipulates Jalil, while police officers like Sartaj Singh and Inspector Farooqui attempt to dismantle the criminal networks. Amidst his rise, Surya faces accusations and a furious confrontation with his father over his gambling habits, leading to a defiant exit from home. The city descends into further chaos with escalating religious conflicts and communal riots. Personal sacrifices are made, as Devi makes a heartbreaking choice to protect Surya, and his friend Zayed is brutally attacked, highlighting the perilous costs of his involvement. Ultimately, Surya discovers a loved one was murdered by the ruthless Jaleel, making him a target. During the communal riots, driven by personal loss and the observation of his deceased sibling, Surya kills Jaleel. He reluctantly becomes the 'King of Malwani,' grappling with profound guilt over his actions and the heavy cost of power and vengeance.
