The microdrama begins with the terrifying disappearance of young Kirti, whose desperate cries for "cold" are tragically misunderstood by her parents, Shanaya and Vaibhav, amidst their bitter divorce and custody battle. As Kirti's communication device goes inactive, Vaibhav embarks on a frantic search, facing dismissal from Shanaya, who views his efforts as harassment, and suspicion from investigators. Shanaya, meanwhile, is pursued by a relentless cop and manipulated by her brother and Gia, who seek her fortune, while her partner Rahul plots against Vaibhav. The search intensifies with the discovery of Kirti's teddy bear, but Vaibhav is soon lured into a trap by an acquaintance, Abhay, and confined, losing external communication. The narrative then shifts to Kirti's critical condition, as she is reported missing from the hospital. A profound ethical dilemma emerges when Shanaya, now partnered with Devang, proposes using Kirti as a liver donor for Devang's critically ill son, Rahul, a suggestion Vaibhav fiercely opposes. Vaibhav manages to snatch Kirti from a car crash, escalating their custody battle, but tragically, Kirti cannot be saved and dies, leading to Vaibhav's hospitalization and profound distress. Shanaya, manipulated by Aryan and Devang, is kept unaware of Kirti's death, believing she is arranging a transplant, and consequently misses Kirti's memorial service, facing public condemnation and Vaibhav's blame. In the aftermath, Shanaya marries Devang, ruthlessly expelling her family, seeking to escape her painful past. Unexpectedly, Vaibhav intervenes to adopt an orphaned boy named Rahul, whose father's death is linked to a past family tragedy involving a deceased female child, for which Sadhvi shares responsibility. Vaibhav commits to raising Rahul as his own, while Sadhvi seeks to become Rahul's mother, establishing a complex modern family dynamic centered on guilt and redemption. Concurrently, a mysterious woman subjects a captive man to sadistic torture, hinting at deep-seated vengeance, and Sanya poisons Raj, leaving him paralyzed and vowing revenge, suggesting unresolved sinister undercurrents within the broader narrative.
