The microdrama centers on Freya, a woman forced to abandon her beloved Kayas and their unborn child by his manipulative mother, a sacrifice made to save his life. Years later, Kayas, now a powerful CEO, returns consumed by a desire for revenge, believing Freya betrayed him, and subjects her to repeated public humiliation and emotional cruelty. Freya's primary struggle is to protect their critically ill daughter, whose existence and paternity she initially hides from Kayas, while also working secretly to fund her life-saving surgery. Kayas, suspecting the child's true parentage, manipulates the medical system to deny care and uses the daughter as leverage, forcing Freya into various binding contracts or forced "marriages" to secure the safety of her loved ones, including a husband named Henrik. Throughout her ordeal, Freya faces a web of antagonists, including Kayas's manipulative mother, vengeful rivals like Sujin, and an obsessed man from her past, enduring abductions, physical assaults, and threats of human trafficking. A central conflict revolves around the paternity of their daughter, with initial tests denying Kayas's fatherhood, further fueling his accusations of deceit. However, Kayas eventually uncovers the devastating truth: his own mother orchestrated Freya's abandonment years prior to save his life. This revelation sparks profound guilt in Kayas, leading him to banish his mother and desperately fight to save Freya from a critical illness. The narrative culminates in a violent confrontation with Cici, a woman from their past seeking revenge against Kayas, which leaves Kayas gravely wounded. In his dying moments, the full truth of their hidden daughter is revealed, transforming Freya's animosity into desperate love. Kayas proposes marriage, which Freya accepts, just before he succumbs to his injuries, leaving her with a heartbreaking promise and the profound weight of their shared, tragic history.
