Sam, a brilliant CEO, is ruthlessly betrayed and left for dead by his ambitious employee, John, who then usurps Sam's company and friends. Awakening from a coma, Sam vows revenge, entering a strategic contract marriage with Miss Sora from the powerful Wilson family. However, Sam faces a relentless corporate power struggle as John, now allied with key shareholders like Lisa and Lucy, publicly humiliates and ousts Sam from his own company. Despite a genuine health crisis, Sam makes a defiant stand, eventually resigning and disappearing on the eve of the company's IPO, leaving chaos and a lingering belief in his return. His sudden collapse after reuniting with Sandy reveals a recurring illness, which Sam cunningly uses as a deceptive tool in his elaborate revenge plot. He targets his former partners and his CEO sister, Sonia, who had taken over his previous office. Sam orchestrates a shocking comeback, marked by an explosive act of terror at Nian Company, while navigating accusations of exploiting women and a transactional romantic entanglement with Ms. Zora. Concurrently, a hostile takeover attempt of Nian Company by Maria is fiercely resisted by Lisa, the true biggest shareholder. In a strategic withdrawal, Sam transfers shares to Maria, making her the majority shareholder, and vanishes, secretly orchestrating further revenge through a new appointed manager. His decision to marry Sandy, a powerful heiress, sparks intense jealousy and betrayal from former lovers Lucy and Alex, and childhood friends Shilu and John, who feel abandoned. Despite multiple attempts to disrupt his wedding and expose his past, Sam decisively severs ties with his old life. He chooses a future with Sandy, rejecting reconciliation with those who betrayed him. This saga chronicles Sam's journey from corporate betrayal and personal devastation to a calculated resurgence and a new, albeit complicated, beginning.
