The microdrama centers on Harris, an Immortal Doctor, who initially seeks ascension and agrees to marry Clara, bringing a mysterious "devil's box" into her home, warning of its catastrophic potential. His devoted disciple, Miles Hawkins, covets the box, believing it a treasure, leading to his betrayal of Harris and public accusations of theft and illegal medical practices. Clara, Harris's fiancée, also turns against him, revealing their engagement was a calculated move to acquire the "treasure box." A deadly plague, linked to the opened box, ravages Berlin and later Cloud City, plunging society into chaos. Harris falls gravely ill, desperately needing the box, while simultaneously being accused of faking his illness and orchestrating the very plague he absorbed to save others. He is publicly branded a liar, manipulator, and faces a death sentence under a ruthless City Leader who denies the crisis. Defying Harris's warnings, Miles Hawkins uses the "magical box" for temporary cures, eventually declaring himself the "Medical Saint" and establishing a tyrannical rule over Cloud City, demanding wealth and people for a cure. Harris, initially unyielding, exposes Miles's fraudulent healing and unleashes a powerful mystical curse, turning the plague against Miles and his family as retribution for their past betrayals. Following a dramatic lightning strike, Harris emerges transformed and revered, achieving immortality and becoming a vigilante. As an immortal, Harris protects Cloud City and Mary, thwarting Miles Hawkins's nihilistic nuclear assault. He miraculously cures the plague-stricken city with potent magic, rejecting former lovers and publicly severing ties with his ex-fiancée, Clara Jason. However, the narrative hints at a looming magical war, ancient rituals under threat from the Hawkins family's dark magic, and a chilling vow of revenge. The show culminates with Harris and Mary's long-awaited wedding being abruptly plunged into chaos by a furious woman, hinting at past transgressions and inescapable retribution, leaving their blissful union threatened by betrayal and revenge.
