The microdrama centers on the profound betrayal of elderly parents, Gayatri and Raghunath (Papa), by their ambitious son, Siddharth, and the subsequent quest for truth and justice by their other son, Kabir. Gayatri and Raghunath make immense sacrifices, including selling their home, to fund Siddharth's education, only for him to achieve success and cruelly disown them, driven by shame over his humble origins and pressure from his materialistic wife. Siddharth forces his parents into a dangerous charade, presenting them as strangers or servants to maintain his fabricated identity as an orphan. Meanwhile, Kabir, initially believed to be adopted by Gayatri and Balraj, returns home after years abroad to discover his adoptive father's accident and the mysterious vanishing of his adoptive parents, leaving a cryptic message about Siddharth and raising questions about his true parentage and a potential sibling rivalry. As the narrative unfolds, Gayatri and Raghunath endure escalating abuse and public humiliation at the hands of Siddharth, his wife, and a cruel matriarch, including false accusations of theft and physical assault. Siddharth initially stands by, even suggesting his mother return a missing ring, but eventually finds it, showing a flicker of remorse. However, Kabir emerges as a fiercely protective son, rising to become a powerful CEO, vowing to defend his parents and uncover the truth behind their torment. He orchestrates events to challenge Siddharth's facade, ultimately exposing Siddharth's shocking deception: that he has been hiding his biological parents, presenting them as servants to his unsuspecting wife. This devastating revelation leads to Kabir vowing severe retribution against Siddharth for abandoning their shared parents, terminating all financial backing for Siddharth's ventures. Facing financial ruin, Siddharth and his wife plot sinister actions against his parents, including forced consumption of poisonous soup, and devise manipulative plans to reclaim their fortunes. Ultimately, Gayatri and Raghunath, deeply humiliated by their sons' actions and the public shame, decide to abandon city life for their ancestral village, seeking honor and peace despite Kabir's desperate pleas for forgiveness and reconciliation. The show explores the devastating impact of denying one's roots, the corrosive nature of social ambition, and the enduring power of familial bonds and the quest for dignity.
