About The Gangster King

The story centers on a shifting battle for power across Mumbai’s criminal and corporate worlds, where hidden identities and forced alliances keep changing the balance. It begins with violent clashes, including a mysterious operative from the Bichhu gang being disarmed and a powerful crime don, Sher, surviving an assassination attempt. Sher is revealed as someone who controls politics, officials, and police while still hiding a secret double life. The conflict then moves into family and marriage pressure, as Bir is trapped by an ancestral vow to marry Tara Khanna and tries to cancel the engagement. In parallel, Maalik is shown as a powerful figure who hides his influence and tries to avoid an arranged marriage by posing as a sanitation worker. Another marriage arrangement also appears through Beer Pratap and Sahib, showing that contracts and status are being used as tools of control. Tara’s world becomes increasingly tied to Veer, whose strict cohabitation contract with her begins as a facade but slowly exposes deeper danger and attraction. Veer is repeatedly treated as unsuitable, mocked in public, and pushed aside by Tara’s guardian and social circle, yet he keeps warning her about threats. A party humiliation turns into a larger crisis when Tara introduces Veer as her husband and armed men later invade the venue. Veer is beaten and taken to a boss, where he is unexpectedly recognized as someone who once saved that boss’s life, suggesting a hidden past with real weight. The family conflict then expands into corporate warfare, with warehouse destruction, a deliberate stockpile fire, and the airport project becoming central to the struggle for power. Tara and her family treat the fire as part of a larger attack and turn to strategy, influence, and access to key decision-makers to protect their position. Veer agrees to start from the lowest level in the family business, even as others question his worth and motives. A major social event becomes a battlefield for entry, humiliation, and leverage, while Veer’s hidden role in the family’s success begins to surface. Corporate pressure intensifies as executives condemn Tara’s choices, blackmail is used to force support, and a cleaner-like intruder repeatedly challenges authority while hinting at a larger revenge plan. The story widens further into a network of rivals, brokers, and gang-linked forces, with Jamwal, Naru Khetan, and others shaping the danger around Tara. Emotional stakes remain tangled throughout, because Tara’s distrust of Veer never fully erases the attraction and unresolved bond between them. By the end, a gala trap, a blackout attack, masked assailants, and police intervention show that the conspiracy is being exposed, but the threat is not fully over.
