A modern cricket facility is thrown into disarray by an impossible "Phantom shot," initiating a desperate search for a prodigy, which leads to Sagar, a humble ground worker who vehemently denies his extraordinary talent. Despite a young boy's insistence and a Female Leader's challenge, Sagar initially conceals his abilities, facing ridicule and class prejudice while another player, Mahesh, attempts to claim mastery and leadership. The Female Leader, later identified as Madam/Shruti, becomes convinced Sagar is the legendary 'God of Cricket' who saved her life, pleading with him to save her deceased father's cricket ground and team. Ambitious rivals like Ankit and Mahesh become obsessed with stealing Sagar's seemingly mystical bat, believing it to be the source of his power, leading to confrontations and a crucial, improbable victory for Sagar's team. The narrative deepens with the revelation of Sagar's twin brother and a cunning impersonator, Gautham, who undergoes surgery to sabotage a rival team, causing confusion and displaying astonishing powers. Humiliated, the real Sagar defiantly reveals his inherent superpower, a "genetic anomaly" from his mother, declaring he was born the "God of Cricket." However, Sagar is haunted by a decade of self-imposed guilt and trauma from a past tragedy involving his ailing love, Kalyani, leading him to refuse to play despite Shruti's desperate pleas to save her father's legacy. He is then blackmailed by the enigmatic Veera, who threatens his family and forces him to captain the Delhi Dragons to reclaim a lost fortune. A woman named Manasa later reveals the truth about Kalyani's accidental death, shattering Sagar's long-held belief of responsibility, while Shruthi affirms her unconditional love, helping him shed his self-punishment. Coerced by a ruthless crime boss to fix a match, Sagar rigs the game, yet the underdog Mumbai Masters achieve an astonishing, last-second victory. Ultimately, Sagar, transformed by Shruthi's love, prioritizes their relationship over public acclaim, culminating in a marriage proposal, even as a mysterious plot involving Veera's people continues to unfold.
