Mr. Fernandez, a powerful magnate, is afflicted by a deadly "bhen-poison" and faces certain death by New Year's Eve unless he unites with a fated woman bearing a unique mark. His desperate search leads him to Geena, a compassionate nurse, whom he initially rejects despite her attempts to help, even as she is trapped by her uncle's greed into a forced marriage. Fernandez intervenes, eventually proposing a contract marriage to Geena, which she accepts as an alternative to another forced union. However, their union is revealed to be a perilous ritual: intimacy on New Year's Eve will cure Fernandez but could potentially cost Geena her life. Despite these life-threatening stakes, Fernandez maintains a transactional approach, while Geena grapples with the forced arrangement and endures abuse from his patriarchal family. An astrological "Blood Moon" prophecy further complicates their bond, revealing that only one of them can survive, forcing Fernandez to make a life-or-death choice. Sophia, a rival, manipulates the situation, revealing that intimacy with Jeena will lead to Jeena's death, and her demise is the only cure for Fernandez's mysterious ailment. Jeena, despite the fatal consequences, falls deeply in love with Fernandez, the man she was meant to save. Tragically, Jeena suffers irreparable cardiac damage and dies, with the shocking revelation that her family sold her body. Fernandez then discovers he has a daughter he never knew existed. Seven years later, Fernandez is haunted by the absence of his wife, Gina, and their unseen daughter. A young girl, Achu/Ammu, desperately searches for her father to save her critically ill mother, Sheethal Jeena/Gina, who is revealed to be Fernandez's long-lost wife, having awakened from a seven-year coma, blind and critically ill. Fernandez initially denies any connection, accusing Achu of theft and impersonation, even resorting to violence, but a shocking voice recognition and haunting doubt reveal their deeply intertwined past. His survival, and Gina's cure, hinges on forgiving Fernandez, whose past secrets are crucial, requiring a deadly sacrifice from him on a Blood Moon night. To secure entry into a high-stakes New Year's Eve competition for Gina's eye treatment, Fernandez dramatically steps in as Ammu's "father," initiating a reluctant deception that blurs with unexpected emotions. A shocking revelation unveils that Fernandez, in a desperate attempt to cure his rare disease, tragically bound Geena to the same fate through a deceptive "cure," with an informant declaring only one can survive. Geena, having miraculously regained her sight, confronts Fernandez, refusing to forgive him for this profound past betrayal, despite their complex emotional attachment. The narrative culminates in a New Year's Eve celebration shattered by the news of young Jeena's critical condition, forcing Fernandez to undertake a perilous, life-threatening medical intervention to save her, driven by love and profound remorse, highlighting the devastating consequences of his mistakes and the ultimate fight for family.
