Let’s be honest. Life comes with questions Google cannot always answer.
“Paise aate hain, par tikte kyun nahi?” “Interview achha gaya tha, job phir bhi kyun nahi lagi?” “Shaadi kab hogi?” And the classic: “Main diet bhi kar raha hoon, phir weight kam kyun nahi ho raha?”
These are exactly the questions that find their way to Astrology Adda, Kuku TV’s lively astrology talk show hosted by the graceful and accomplished actress Hrishitaa Bhatt, with renowned astrologer and spiritual guide Dr Jai Madaan. Madaan is known for her work across astrology, numerology, Vastu, palmistry and life coaching, while Bhatt brings her experience as an actress, model and television host to the conversation.
And between the two of them, there is one thing the show certainly does not run out of: questions.
The show opens with everyday problems that could easily have come from your family WhatsApp group, your office lunch break or that one conversation with a friend that somehow becomes a two-hour discussion about life.
Money. Career. Love. Marriage. Health. Success. Luck.
Hrishitaa brings these questions to Dr Madaan, setting up the central idea of Astrology Adda: when life gets confusing, can the stars offer a little clarity? But instead of simply choosing the next topic, the show has a much more entertaining way of deciding what comes next.
Enter the Wheel of Fortune.
Dr Madaan spins the wheel, and the first destination is Money and Raj Yog. Frankly, if there is one wheel everyone would happily spin twice, this might be it.
The conversation begins with the most relatable money problem of all: why does money arrive at home and then mysteriously disappear? The segment explores prosperity, debt, remedies, Diwali rituals, saving habits and even whether the way you keep money in your purse matters.
Because apparently, even your wallet may have opinions about your financial future.
The wheel spins again and lands on Love and Relationships.
Now the questions get personal.
Why are relationships becoming more difficult? Can love between couples be strengthened? What happens when someone keeps attracting the wrong partners? Can a Manglik marry a non-Manglik? And, of course, what can be done when marriage simply refuses to happen?
There is even an audience question about a daughter who has crossed 30 without getting married.
At this point, Astrology Adda has officially entered peak Indian-family territory.
Next comes Career and Success, where the questions shift from “When will I find love?” to “When will my hard work finally pay off?”
The segment explores delayed success, job interviews, dream careers and the right time to leave a job and start a business. It even gets into those tiny things people wonder about before an important meeting, such as which direction to face.
And then comes a question tailor-made for today’s generation: how reliable are AI apps that predict the future?
Even astrology has entered the AI era.
The wheel moves on to Health and Prosperity.
The conversation looks at whether astrology can indicate possible health concerns, the role of gemstones and whether remedies can help with long-standing issues. The audience also brings up a question that could probably fill an entire internet search page by itself: can astrology help with weight loss?
At this point, the show has covered money, marriage, career and health. Basically, the entire adulting starter pack.
The next topic comes out of a bowl: Kismat Connection.
This is where some of the beliefs many of us grew up hearing get their moment in the spotlight.
What exactly is nazar? What does it mean when you repeatedly see numbers such as 1111 or 555? Can negativity in a home be changed? What is Pitr Dosh? And if something unfortunate is written in one’s fate, can it be avoided?
These are the questions that make you think, “I don’t really believe this… but wait, what does 11:11 mean again?”
The show then turns towards Gen Z and Education.Should young people choose jobs or businesses? Is there a particular age for success? Why is failure so difficult to handle? Can a child’s name, food habits or surroundings influence their growth? For once, the conversation is not just about parents trying to understand Gen Z. It is about Gen Z trying to understand themselves.
Fair enough.
The final main segment is Women Special, bringing deeply personal questions about marriage, family relationships, motherhood, home ownership, in-laws and personal luck.
The questions are intimate and relatable, reflecting the many expectations women are often expected to juggle at once. Here, Astrology Adda becomes less about simply finding out what the future holds and more about finding a little reassurance when the present feels complicated.
And just when you think every possible life question has been covered, the show has one more surprise.
Is a cat crossing your path really bad luck? Should you avoid cutting your nails at night? Does a crying dog mean something terrible is about to happen? And what about that upside-down slipper?Astrology Adda puts these familiar beliefs to the test with a simple question: Myth hai ya sach?
That is what makes the show so much fun. It takes the questions people actually ask, the beliefs they grew up with and the doubts they may secretly Google at midnight, and turns them into an entertaining conversation with Dr Jai Madaan and Hrishitaa Bhatt.
